Designed by [Studio Volpi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mymemo-pill-dispenser), the [air purifier tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airhive) work by being hung on a wall in multiples to passively capture the contaminants and impurities in the surrounding environment. The discreet design of the tiles means they can be placed anywhere and will obscure themselves as [minimalist artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/windmill). The conceptual 'Missaglia' tiles are imagined in green, blue and grayscale colors to give them a further touch of style for consumers to choose from. The tiles also allow for customization by encouraging as many or as few as desired to be easily placed on a wall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.0/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Passive Air Purification:** There is an opportunity to develop more passive air purification solutions for home or office environments to improve indoor air quality. - **Discreet Air Purification Design:** There is an opportunity to create more discreet air purifiers that can double up as minimalist artwork or blend in with interior design. - **Customizable Air Purification Solutions:** There is an opportunity to offer more customizable air purification solutions that can be tailored to individual needs by allowing consumers to easily add or remove tiles. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Air Purification Industry:** The air purification industry can develop new products that cater to the growing demand for more passive and discreet air purifiers. - **Interior Design Industry:** The interior design industry can capitalize on the trend of discreet air purifiers by creating more products that can blend in with interior décor or double up as aesthetic pieces. - **Smart Home Industry:** The smart home industry can integrate air purification solutions into their offerings to provide consumers with more personalized and customizable options that can be controlled via voice or app. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artistic Minimalism Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeroview-air-purifier.md) - [Tactile Interaction Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-air-purifier.md) - [Plant-Shaped Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artsy-air-purifiers.md) - [Style-Influenced Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhaus-air-purifier-concept.md) - [Painterly Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airmega-250-art-x-hailyhills.md) - [Drone-Equipped Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultro-air-purification-system.md) - [Plant-Supporting Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/florapur-air-purifier-concept.md) - [Light-Integrated Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airglow.md) - [Ambient Illumination Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-purifier-concept.md)
