# Anime Tattoos Hello Kitty Forehead Tattoo By Cowbag | Published 2008-08-16 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miss-kitty-tattoo-miss-kitty-forehead-tattoo-friends References: [kittyhell](http://www.kittyhell.com/2007/08/03/hello-kitty-zombie-tattoo/) I mean, what do you say, what do you say to anyone who has decided to brand the Hello Kitty logo onto themselves for life, willingly? I do love the conspiracy theory Kitty Hell has that [Sanrio invented](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skullpanda-x-sanrio) a Hello Kitty virus that makes people do things like this. In my eyes, that's a more feasible explanation than someone willingly wanting to do this. Of course I don't want to jump to conclusions, I will have you understand. But in my eyes, these people are all mentalists. You could have ANY image in the world branded onto you and these people chose Hello Kitty. Not only are these Hello Kitty Tattoos, these are hybrid Hello Kitty Tattoos. The [ninja tattoo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tattoo-compact) and Darth Vader Kitty tattoo are just beyond any reasonable explanation. Surely someone has got to kidding with the "Hello Kitty is my Jesus" design (is there a church of Hello Kitty?) My will to live had once again fled as I got sucked into Hello Kitty land, sneaking a peak at the Kitty zombie tattoo along the way. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Anime Tattoo Trend:** The growing popularity of anime-inspired tattoos, particularly those featuring beloved characters such as Hello Kitty, presents an opportunity for tattoo artists and businesses to tap into a devoted fan base. - **Pop Culture Tattoo Trend:** Tattoos inspired by pop culture phenomenons like Star Wars, comic books, and cartoons offer a unique opportunity for tattoo artists and businesses to cater to a passionate and dedicated consumer base. - **Bold Color Tattoo Trend:** The bold colors and graphic designs of anime-inspired tattoos, such as the Hello Kitty tattoo, demonstrate a trend towards bright and eye-catching tattoos that offer tattoo artists and businesses a chance to create innovative and striking designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Tattoo Industry:** Increased demand for anime and pop culture-inspired tattoos provides an opportunity for tattoo artists and businesses to expand their offerings and tap into a passionate and growing consumer base. - **Anime Industry:** The popularity of anime characters being featured in tattoos is a testament to the influence and appeal of anime and presents an opportunity for the industry to collaborate with tattoo artists and businesses to create exciting new merchandise and promotions. - **Pop Culture Industry:** Crossover between pop culture phenomenons and tattoos, as seen with the Hello Kitty and Star Wars-themed tattoos, presents an opportunity for businesses and marketers to create innovative and unique products and campaigns that tap into a dedicated and engaged audience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cartoon-Inspired Tarot Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-tarot.md) - [Cartoon-Transformed Algae Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-and-algae.md) - [Traditional Cartoon Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-as-i-change-so-does-she.md) - [Cartoon Cat-Inspired Cafes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/universal.md) - [Cartoon-Honoring High Heels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-heel.md) - [Celebrity-Inspired Cartoon Heels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/katy-perry-1.md) - [Iconic Cat Birthday Celebrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-happy-50.md) - [Character Crossover Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skullpanda-x-sanrio.md) - [Collectible Kawaii Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-funko.md)
