This endearing item looks like a fairly basic piece of furniture, yet it hides a clever second function. Locate a switch on the back of the solid oak box and you'll see Haim Evgi's [bedside table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wake-lamp) light up. The furnishing emits a bright yellow light from a [notched drawer pull](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engrid-desk-lamp) and an upper surface made of plexiglass. With this setup, you won't require a light for visibility in the early morning and at night. The LED source within the Misko Table Lamp is economical, completing a practical and delightful [multipurpose movable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multipurpose Furniture:** The trend of creating furniture with hidden or dual functions is growing, presenting opportunities for companies to combine everyday objects with unexpected uses. - **LED Lighting Design:** LED technology is being incorporated in furniture and lighting design, creating energy-efficient and innovative products and leading to new markets and applications. - **Integration of Technology:** The integration of technology into furniture is becoming more common, creating opportunities for companies to develop furniture that is functional, interactive, and augmented. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry is incorporating new technologies and materials to create multi-functional and innovative products for the modern consumer. - **Lighting:** The lighting industry is exploring new applications for LED technology, creating products that are not just a light source, but also an artistic expression and a functional object. - **Smart Home:** The smart home industry is developing new ways to integrate technology into everyday objects, providing homeowners with products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tech-Packed Bedroom Nightstands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-bedside-table.md) - [Adaptable Bedroom Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mate-bedside-table.md) - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md) - [Industrial Floating Bedside Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tu-bedside-table.md) - [Sleek Smart Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindduo-2.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Tech-Rich Bedside Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiinteriors-histand.md) - [Portable Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parcel-portable-lamp.md)
