# Reflective Camera Products The Mirrorcase for iPhones Takes Pictures from Any Horizontal Position By Sarah Moore | Published 2012-05-06 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirrorcase-for-iphones References: [mirrorcase](http://www.mirrorcase.com) & [kck.st](http://kck.st/IEFdKg) The MirrorCase for [iPhones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapgrip) was developed to allow budding photographers and videographers the ability to shoot subject matter from virtually any position. Instead of having to hold the phone in front of your face in an awkward position, the reflective qualities of the phone protector allows the user to record video and images from a more natural perspective. While holding the phone in a horizontal angle, anything that passes in front of the iPhone will be captured. The designers, RHP Multimedia Corp, also included several other handy features in the product's aesthetic to increase functionality. The curved design acts as a shoulder rest, which is useful when trying to talk on the phone with your hands full. It is also equipped with a built-in flashlight and the angular design of the case prevents wear and tear on the power cord. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Reflective Camera Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop camera accessories with reflective qualities to allow shooting from various angles and perspectives. - **Natural Perspective Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create smartphone accessories that enable capturing video and images from a natural horizontal position. - **Multi-functional Phone Cases:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design phone cases with additional features like shoulder rests, built-in flashlights, and cord protection. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new camera accessories and phone cases to enhance user experiences and capture unique perspectives. - **Photography and Videography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop products that revolutionize the way photos and videos are captured, focusing on natural perspectives and ease of use. - **Mobile Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative phone cases that not only protect devices but also provide additional functionalities for user convenience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Videography Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/90-degree-instinct-case.md) - [Content Creator Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipix-iphone-case.md) - [Three-in-One Smartphone Vlogging Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magmirror.md) - [Secondary Display Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfix-case.md) - [Protective Smartphone Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stash-stand-case.md) - [Photographer-Targeted Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-cases1.md) - [Multifunctional Stealthy Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ostand-spin.md) - [Magnetic Snap-On Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapgrip.md) - [Multifunctional Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upro.md)
