'Infinite Continues' skillfully recreated many memorable Super Mario characters using the minimum amount of detail. My favorite of these minimalist Super Mario Posters are the ones that aren't instantly recognizable. [Yoshi, the ghost and Bowser](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invincibility-star) all take the top spot for me because they actually require a true fan to puzzle out their identity. If you're a modern art fan who also dabbles in gaming, you need to check out these sweet posters. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Minimalist Art:** Embrace the trend of minimalist art by incorporating it into various forms of creative expression, such as video game posters. - **Nostalgia Gaming:** Tap into the nostalgia gaming trend by recreating iconic video game characters and imagery in new and unique ways. - **Fan-driven Design:** Cater to the desires of dedicated fans by creating products that require their knowledge and engagement to fully appreciate. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can utilize minimalist techniques to create visually striking and modern pieces of artwork. - **Gaming and Entertainment:** The gaming and entertainment industry can capitalize on the nostalgia trend by creating merchandise and collectibles that appeal to fans of classic video games. - **E-commerce:** The e-commerce industry can tap into fan-driven design by offering customizable products that allow consumers to create personalized items based on their favorite characters and franchises. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Video Game-Themed Pixel Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixel-art-collection.md) - [Nostalgic Gaming Cookies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oreo-x-super-mario.md) - [Video Game Travel Merchandise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-super-mario-travel-items.md) - [Video Game-Themed Sauces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/truffle-infused-hot-sauces.md) - [Ultra-Minimal Arcade Gaming Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-arcade-cabinet.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Cozy Video Game Loungewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-mario-meets-gelato-pique.md) - [Video Game-Inspired LEGO Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunscreen-mist.md) - [Video Game Refreshment Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suntory-x-super-mario.md)
