# Circuit-Inspired Chandeliers This Minimalist Chandelier Was Designed to Look Like a Circuit Board By Mishal Omar | Published 2016-09-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-chandelier References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/circuit-board-inspired-chandelier/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [works.andreasonleibel](http://works.andreasonleibel.com/) This minimalist chandelier makes for a modern lighting alternative to traditional ceiling lamps or over-the-top lighting fixtures. The chandelier was designed by 'Andreason & Leibel' and is called the 'Circuit Chandelier' as a result of the fact that its inspiration came from the makeup of a circuit board. The chandelier is [simple in its design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-light), featuring three steel pipes hanging downwards with three light bulbs fixed at their ends and another two on the [curved pipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-light) at the top of the decor piece. The circuit board-inspired minimalist chandelier manages to look sophisticated as a result of its simple style. This home decor piece is quite diverse in its design and would therefore suit modern homes as well as ones that have more character. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Minimalist Lighting:** Designing modern lighting alternatives to traditional ceiling lamps and over-the-top lighting fixtures - **Circuit Board-inspired Decor:** Incorporating circuit board-inspired designs into decor pieces to add sophistication and a touch of technology - **Diverse Home Decor:** Creating home decor pieces with diverse designs to suit both modern and traditional homes ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Lighting Industry:** The lighting industry can create modern and minimalist lighting alternatives for both individual and business customers - **Home Decor Industry:** The home decor industry can incorporate circuit board-inspired designs into various pieces to create a sleek and technological feel - **Tech Industry:** The tech industry can collaborate with the home decor industry to create circuit board-inspired decor pieces with innovative functionalities ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Printed Circuit Sconces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/printed-circuit.md) - [Dripping Faucet-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-light-fixture.md) - [Dynamic Artful Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghost-chandelier.md) - [Dynamic Hand-Blown Glass Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaris.md) - [Minimal Collaborative Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linea-selva.md) - [Matte White Dynamic Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2097-chandelier.md) - [Artistic Ribbon-Like Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-fellas-ceiling-light.md) - [Plant-Inspired Dynamic Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-chandelier.md) - [Sculptural Contemporary Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volant.md)
