Painting a sad picture of a inescapable present or an avoidable near future, the images are full of social significance that people can interpret in their own ways. Although the miniature sculptures clearly occupy their own reality, they interact with the real world in very interesting ways. Created by artist Isaac Cordal, who is known for his [stunning](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dystopian-art) [works](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artist-manuel-archain), his latest series of miniature sculptures is just as dark as his previous ones. Fubiz writes, "As small interventions in a big city, the sculptures can be found in the gutters, on top of buildings or over bus shelters.È ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Bleak Depictions of Society:** Opportunity for artists to create thought-provoking works that raise awareness of societal issues. - **Miniature Sculptures as Street Art:** Chance for street artists to use small sculptures to create unique and unexpected installations. - **Critique of Corporate Culture:** Potential for artists to use sculpture to comment on the negative effects of modern capitalism. ### Where This Applies - **Art:** Opportunity for artists to use sculpture to create powerful social commentary. - **Street Art:** Chance for street artists to incorporate small sculpture into their installations. - **Advertising:** Opportunity for brands to incorporate miniature sculptures into their campaigns for a unique and attention-grabbing approach. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md) - [Sculptural Public Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-public-seating.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Eclipse-Themed Rooftop Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-zero.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Gem-Like Sculptural Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cylindrical-lenses.md) - [Miniature Artful Hip-Hop Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danny-cortes.md)
