# Personalized Wooden Dolls Goose Grease Recreates Your Family Out of Wood By Tinkalicious | Published 2009-01-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-wooden-dolls-create-your-own References: [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5881530) Goose Grease (out of Williamsburg, NY) has a unique and extremely cute series of wooden “people." Their small, custom painted characters, including pandas, knights, ninjas, conversations hearts (a perfect Valentine’s gift) and pirates, among others custom painted dolls, can be used as cake toppers and are an affordable type of personalized art. One of their cleverest creations is the personalized family, with which you can recreate your own family members, which are custom painted to order. If you are the crafty type, you can even order blank dolls and paint whatever takes your fancy! Great idea! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 90% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Personalized Wooden Dolls:** Creating personalized wooden dolls for special occasions and as gifts for customers and clients. - **Custom Painted Art:** Using custom painted art as an affordable option for gifts, cake toppers, and personalized decor. - **DIY Crafts:** Offering blank dolls as a DIY craft option for creative customers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Event Planning:** Integrating personalized wooden dolls as part of event planning services, such as for weddings, baby showers, and birthdays. - **Handmade Gifts:** Providing custom wooden dolls as personalized gifts for various events and occasions, such as anniversaries or graduations. - **Arts and Crafts:** Selling blank wooden dolls and other crafting supplies for customers to create their own designs and personalized items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Personalized Christmas Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-me-ornaments.md) - [Timber Tech-Packed Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teenage-engineering-wooden-dolls.md) - [Whimsical Gnome Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-gnome-on-the-roam.md) - [Artful Collectible Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fisherprice-little-people-x-andre-saraiva.md) - [Personalized Pet Photo Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personalized-pet-photo.md) - [Magnetic Wooden Animal Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nini-amici-toy-set.md) - [Miniature Animated Custom Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-yourself.md) - [Folded Paper Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clara-von-zweibergk.md) - [Customized Numeric Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-by-numbers-customized.md)
