The Mini Warp Bookshelf by Onur Müştak Çobanlı is a functional piece of art that seems like it would be better suited for an exhibition than to be displayed and used in one’s home. The Mini Warp Bookshelf is created from thermo molded acrylic. The designer believes that it is also possible to recreate in metal. It measures 150cm x 25cm x 150cm and comes in a slightly larger size as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Optical Illusion Shelves:** The trend of creating shelving units that feature optical illusions, offering a unique and visually captivating way to display books and decor items. - **Functional Art:** The trend of incorporating artistic elements into functional furniture designs, blurring the line between art and furniture. - **Thermo Molded Acrylic:** The trend of using thermo molded acrylic as a material of choice for creating modern and visually striking furniture pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can leverage the trend of optical illusion shelves by creating innovative and visually stunning shelving units for home and commercial spaces. - **Art Exhibitions:** The art exhibition industry can explore the trend of functional art, allowing artists to showcase their unique furniture creations that provide both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. - **Material Manufacturing:** The material manufacturing industry can tap into the trend of thermo molded acrylic to offer a wide range of applications, including furniture, lighting, and home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Abstract Jigsaw-Like Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spectator-shelf.md) - [Sculptural Bookshelves Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bookshelf.md) - [Dynamic Geometric Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheft.md) - [Dynamic Storage-Display Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelf-life.md) - [Clock-Accented Shelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omega-shelf.md) - [Sliding Wintery Landscape Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manhwabang-bookshelf.md) - [Minimalist Bookish Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimal-bookshelf.md) - [Room-Dividing Bookshelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frquence-shelf.md) - [Curvaceous Floating Illusion Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-collection-2.md)
