[Heinz](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meal-pouches) baked beans can now be made in a [desk top microwave](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-gtebo-microwave-oven), named Beanzawave. The Beanzawave is designed to work with the [Heinz snack pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knorr-mini-meals), which are bite-sized portions of my favourite beans (yummy.) Could this be the best invention ever for students and Trend Hunters? Ayman, I am thinking specifically of you here! Sadly, the microwave is only a prototype so far - if and when it goes on sale, this mini microwave will stand 7.4 inches tall by 6.2 inches wide, and 5.9 inches deep. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **USB Bean Cookers:** A trend of mini microwaves designed for cooking specific foods at the office or on-the-go, such as Heinz baked beans in this case. - **Desk Top Microwaves:** A trend of compact microwaves that can be placed on a desk or countertop, revolutionizing the convenience of cooking meals in small spaces. - **Snack Pot Cuisine:** A trend of bite-sized portions of food that can be easily heated in specialized microwaves, creating new opportunities for on-the-go meals and snacking. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchen Appliance:** The kitchen appliance industry can explore opportunities to develop and market compact microwaves specifically designed for office or small space cooking. - **Ready-to-eat Food:** The ready-to-eat food industry can develop and market bite-sized snack pots of various cuisines that can be easily heated in specialized microwaves like the Beanzawave. - **Meal Delivery Services:** Meal delivery services can incorporate snack pots of pre-cooked meals that can be conveniently heated using compact microwaves, providing more options for on-demand and on-the-go eating. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bean-Based Meal Pouches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meal-pouches.md) - [Smartwatch-Inspired Portable Microwaves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campo-portable-microwave.md) - [Cheese-Mixed Canned Beans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheesy-beanz.md) - [Infrared Heating Lunchboxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heatwave-go-n01.md) - [Collapsible Microwave Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-microwave.md) - [Drain-Free Pouch-Packaged Beans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merchant-gourmet-product.md) - [Self-Heating Messenger Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/willtex-willcook.md) - [One-Person Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-cooking-appliance.md) - [Oven-Like Microwave Cooking Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rangemate.md)
