This mine-detection system makes use of [magnetic resonance technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nuclear-magnetic-resonance) that takes into account the fact that many landmines don't contain metal, and therefore can't necessarily be detected with use of metal detectors. This mine-detection system makes use of a transceiver that can be placed on the ground, and delivers radio waves into the soul to monitor compounds found in explosives. If such compounds are detected, the device alerts the user to the potential presence of a mine.
