With a very [gritty take](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nick-valentijn), Bache seems to capture the untamed underbelly experiences of life. Playing with [black and white settings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/profiles-in-color), muted colors and [out-of-focus techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nonnas-cam), the Mikkel Bache Deja-Vu Collection is full of depth. Enjoy the gallery and Backe’s take on life. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Grittography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a new photography style that captures the untamed and gritty underbelly experiences of life. - **Muted Colors:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a color treatment technique that uses muted colors to evoke a sense of depth and nostalgia in photography. - **Out-of-focus Techniques:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore and develop new out-of-focus techniques that add a dream-like quality to photographs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a new disruptive photography style and techniques to capture unique and unforgettable moments. - **Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine different artistic expressions with photography to create visually captivating and thought-provoking artwork. - **Marketing and Advertising:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize the gritty and nostalgic aesthetics of grittography to create attention-grabbing and authentic marketing and advertising campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Photographer-Collab Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artiste-series.md) - [Photography Project Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1.md) - [Perception-Challenging Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/becoming-familiar.md) - [Vintage Photo Effects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grainify.md) - [Public Art Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-anthony-smith.md) - [British Youth-Culture Photography Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-and-away.md)
