# Minimal Multi-Functional Tables The Pebble Table by Mikhail Belyaev is a Utilitarian Product By Sarah St.Jules | Published 2013-08-06 | Updated 2013-08-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mikhail-belyaev References: [beautifullife.info](http://www.beautifullife.info/interior-design/pebble-table-by-mikhail-belyaev/) & [mikhailbelyaev](http://mikhailbelyaev.com/) Furniture should be both functional and beautiful. Designer Mikhail Belyaev has achieved the balance between the two perfectly. He has created the ‘Pebble Table;’ a well-designed circular table. The glass top allows the owner to look through to the bottom of the table and the cut-outs along the side allow one to be able to reach into the table. Since it is easily accessible, extra storage can go inside; however, since everyone can see what you are storing inside, you would want to make sure it isn’t cluttered. The white exterior and the minimalist design make this table incredibly beautiful. Mikhail Belyaev has created a table that is stunning and useful. It would look great in most home interiors. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Furniture Design:** Opportunities for designers to create multi-functional tables with minimalist design elements that prioritize form and function in equal measure - **Transparency and Accessibility in Furniture Design:** Incorporating transparent elements and cut-outs in furniture designs to provide accessibility while also showcasing the contents inside - **Innovative Storage Solutions in Furniture Design:** Innovating on furniture designs that integrate storage solutions in unique and creative ways, such as utilizing cut-outs for access and transparency ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Opportunities for furniture designers to create innovative products that balance form and function, incorporating transparency and accessibility features for storage solutions - **Home Decor:** Opportunities for home decor retailers to offer unique, multi-functional furniture designs that focus on minimalist aesthetics while also providing solutions for small living spaces - **Interior Design:** Opportunities for interior designers to incorporate multi-functional furniture pieces with unique storage solutions to optimize and enhance small living spaces ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Book Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-coffee-table.md) - [Compact Functional Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table.md) - [Bent Multi-Functional Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shell-table.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Impactful Industrial Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/to-steel-side-table.md) - [Harmonious Helical Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vortex-coffee-table.md) - [Moveable Wave-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/side-table-concept.md) - [Splintered Storage Console Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flitter-console-table.md) - [Coastline-Inspired Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marea-low-table.md)
