Their design is basically a [sustainable living environment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cabana) inside a [giant rubber wheel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-naowheel) that can be mobilized at any point. The giant wheel building was designed for when [political or natural disasters occur](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lift-house). In times of distress, all one must do is power up the engine and drive their home to a new location. The building's design includes a irrigation system that allows users to grow their own plants and an area to run a small farm. Complete with indoor plumbing, a kitchen, a living room and two bedrooms, this movable building has everything one needs and may be a reality in the distant future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Migrant Skyscraper:** Damian Przybyła and Rafał Przybyła's 'Migrant Skyscraper' is a sustainable environment that can be mobilized at any point, making it perfect for people who seek mobility in times of natural or political disasters. - **Wheel-enclosed Buildings:** The 'Migrant Skyscraper' is a paradigm shift in architecture and design, offering a wheel-enclosed building that allows people to efficiently move their homes across various locations. - **Sustainable Living:** The 'Migrant Skyscraper' promotes sustainable living by incorporating an irrigation system and an area to run a small farm, providing a way of life that enables people to grow and produce their food sustainably. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture and Design:** The 'Migrant Skyscraper' challenges traditional architecture and design by introducing a unique building model that is sustainable and mobile. - **Disaster Relief:** The 'Migrant Skyscraper' could be a perfect solution for disaster relief as it offers a quick and efficient solution for those affected by natural disasters or political unrest. - **Sustainable Agriculture:** The 'Migrant Skyscraper' presents an opportunity for sustainable agriculture by providing a small farm area for people to grow their food and reduce their carbon footprint. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Turbine-Based Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blademade-1.md) - [Portable Wheel-Based Green Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-house-of-wheels.md) - [Recycled Material Mobile Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contihome.md) - [Climate-Responsive Prefab Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-pod.md) - [Origami-Inspired Sleek Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinity-mobile-architecture-system.md) - [Integrated Engine Off-Roading Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubishack.md) - [Shape‑shifting Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-offgrid-house.md) - [Sustainable Alien Planet Colonies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colony-concept.md) - [Martian-Informed Inflatable Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/martian-house.md)
