But there is no reason why only kids should be able to enjoy such playful designs. The modern pieces in the Midi Colors collection are [subtly child-like](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternal-child), adding an innocent air of creativity and imagination in an otherwise adult environment. Designed by [Lagranja Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croma-furniture-collection), a studio based in Spain, the Midi Colors collection is made up of [tables, cabinets and shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables). The stick figure-like silhouettes are accented in a bold palette of such colors as bright yellow, orange, green and blue. Natural wood elements such as the tabletops adds a bit of sophistication, effectively grounding the vibrant pieces for grown-up use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Furniture Designs:** Introducing playful and child-like designs into adult environments offers a disruptive innovation opportunity for furniture manufacturers. - **Incorporating Bold Colors:** The use of bold and vibrant colors in furniture design creates a disruptive innovation opportunity for interior designers and decorators. - **Mixing Natural Elements with Playful Aesthetics:** Combining natural wood elements with playful designs creates a disruptive innovation opportunity for furniture designers and manufacturers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can tap into the demand for playful and vibrant furniture designs by incorporating child-like aesthetics into their product lines. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers and decorators can utilize bold and vibrant furniture pieces to create unique and eye-catching spaces for their clients. - **Woodworking:** Woodworkers can explore the integration of natural wood elements in playful furniture designs to create distinctive and innovative pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Playful Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co.md) - [Dynamic Vibrancy Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porro-linea.md) - [Contemporary Mediterranean-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croma-furniture-collection.md) - [Colorful Dense Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joy-objects-1.md) - [Playful Learning Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-open-house.md) - [Pop Art-Inspired Bright Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henri-judin.md) - [Latin Playground-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sum-of-small-parts.md) - [Sculptural Living Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cromatica.md)
