The air conditioning unit was created to respond to key concerns, namely the fact that people are mostly concerned with installation, cooling performance and energy efficiency. The uniquely shaped inverter air conditioner boasts a [compact design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-master) and offers more flexibility than usual, plus it helps to block out operating noise outside and compressor sounds, resulting in a quiet experience—Midea promises ultra-quiet operation "as low as 42dBA, which is almost as quiet as a library, and up to nine times quieter than traditional window AC units."
