The Microclean is itself an appliance, designed to improve one's interaction with another. Alastair Crompton's invention works to help you wash the inside of your microwave through the [use of steam](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stretch-steam). Its spherical receptacle can be filled effortlessly in your kitchen sink, placed onto its tripod, fastened with its spritzing cap and inserted into your zapper to undergo a bit of heat and a helpful spin. As the water warms in the base of the Microclean, it converts into a gas which builds pressure beneath the domed cap.
