The Micro Four Thirds System, an interchangeable lens standard, is all set to be fitted onto drones made by Chinese drone-maker [DJI](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-fpv2). The system was established by [Panasonic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumix-gh6) and [Olympus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/om-system-om3) in 2008, but its incorporation into new aerial photography drones is an exciting development for aerial photography enthusiasts. The system makes use of all kinds of lens types ranging from single focal length to wide angle and telephoto varieties.

DJI's drones are now set to come with a wider range of cameras and lenses as well as more options for customization by photography drone owners looking for specific configurations.

There's more to be excited about, as Olympus says that the Micro Four Thirds offerings will only "become much more diverse, further increasing the potential of this advanced digital imaging system."
