The Boston-based artist mixes modern art with iconic comic book characters. She has her own store on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarotandreading) where she makes and sells sculptures of vigilante feces. She believes that [masked warriors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solander-batman) need to conceal everything and thus her resulting sculptures are costumed poop in jars. She takes her inspiration from some of our favorite comic book heroes: Batman, Spider-man and the Hulk. The creations are handmade from polymer clay and no two sculptures are the same. One jar of super-powered feces will cost you $15.99. But it also comes with its own fragrance. This is the ideal gift for the [superhero memorabilia collector](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/san-diego-comiccon) who already seems to have everything on the market. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Superhero Memorabilia:** Opportunity: Explore the market for unique and unconventional superhero collectibles, such as superhero poop sculptures, to appeal to collectors looking for exclusive and interesting items. - **Unconventional Art:** Opportunity: Embrace unconventional and boundary-pushing art forms, like superhero poop sculptures, to attract attention and differentiate from traditional artistic offerings. - **Iconic Character Merchandise:** Opportunity: Create unique merchandise featuring iconic comic book characters, like superhero poop sculptures, to cater to fans seeking distinctive and novel representations of their favorite heroes and villains. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Sculpture:** Opportunity: Incorporate unconventional materials and themes, like superhero poop sculptures, into the art and sculpture industry to challenge traditional norms and generate buzz. - **Collectibles and Memorabilia:** Opportunity: Tap into the demand for exclusive and unexpected collectibles, such as superhero poop sculptures, to capture the attention of collectors and enthusiasts seeking unique items for their collections. - **Merchandising and Licensing:** Opportunity: Explore unconventional licensed merchandise options, like superhero poop sculptures, to expand the range of offerings and cater to fans who appreciate unconventional and eye-catching products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxury Gut Health Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pooch-pendant.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Dark Superhero Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batman-x-air-up.md) - [Classic Superhero-Inspired Donuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krispy-kreme-hungry-for-heroes.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md) - [Nostalgic Superhero-Inspired Soaps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cowabunga-cleanse.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Pet Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warner-bros-1.md) - [3D Superhero Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazing-spiderman-set.md) - [Buildable 3D Superhero Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gotham-city-skyline-set.md)
