Many sink designs are done for purely practical purposes, but it's important for some that all home items are aesthetically pleasing too. This design takes these thoughts into consideration. "The [slim, handmade ceramic basin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luneup) with a hidden siphon is supported by a light, skeletal, and transparent structure that references Gustave Eiffel’s Parisian masterpiece," states DesignBoom. Clearly Michael Hilgers put some serious thought into the Gus Washbasin overall design, taking European influence and using this as a source of inspiration when completing the sink. The white design also makes it quite versatile for a number of different bathrooms.
