# Winter Sport Wine Holders A Snow Ski Wine Rack by Michael Bellino is Made from Reclaimed Gear By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2013-05-02 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/michael-bellino References: [uncommongoods](http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/snow-ski-wine-rack) If you're looking for a quirky gift for that friend who has a ski chalet or simply someone who appreciates wacky design, then the Snow Ski Wine Rack by Michael Bellino might just be the appropriate option. Made from reclaimed skis, the Snow Ski Wine Rack is expertly level and strong enough to hold a whopping three bottles of vino. An artisan by nature, Bellino began his career making SkiChairs, which are made from upcycled skis. He extended his expertise into the wine rack area, which is where this lovely acoutrement comes from now. What's great about the Snow Ski Wine Rack is the uniqueness that they offer; although the design might be the same, no two racks will be alike because of the wear and tear they've received prior. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Upcycled Home Decor:** Businesses can explore creating home decor items from reclaimed materials to cater to consumers looking for eco-friendly and unique designs. - **Quirky Wine Holders:** Entrepreneurs can capitalize on the growing interest in unique wine holders by creating fun and unconventional designs like the Snow Ski Wine Rack. - **Combining Hobbies:** Innovative professionals can create products that merge multiple hobbies or interests, like the Snow Ski Wine Rack that combines winter sports with wine culture. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Eco-friendly Home Decor:** This market can benefit from the use of reclaimed or upcycled materials in furniture and home decor pieces like the Snow Ski Wine Rack. - **Wine Accessories:** Entrepreneurs can tap into the growing market of wine enthusiasts looking for fun and quirky wine holders like the Snow Ski Wine Rack. - **Sports and Leisure Merchandise:** Businesses can explore creating products that combine two hobbies or areas of interest, catered to consumers like the Snow Ski Wine Rack for winter sports enthusiasts who also enjoy wine. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Après Ski-Inspired Wine Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aprs-ski-holiday-collection.md) - [Unique Upcycled Serving Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-wine-bottle-appetizer-tray.md) - [Rack-Free Car Ski Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trailer-hitch-ski-rack.md) - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md) - [Drink-Holding Outdoor Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lago-lounge-chair.md) - [Boxed Wine Lawn Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lawn-inflatablecab.md) - [Contemporary Ski Home Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traditional-ski-chalet.md) - [Wine-Inspired Gift Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-down-gift-set.md) - [Wine-Themed Holiday Sweaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matching-holiday-sweater.md)
