Myers is an illustrator who has a strong love for [comic book superheroes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-heroes-vs-villains). His latest work is a series called Comic Book Pixel Posters, which was inspired by upcoming comic book-themed movies set to hit theaters. The series by Michael B. Myers is a refreshing twist on traditional movie poster creations and will definitely be loved by any comic book geek. Michael B. Myers takes on [The Dark Knight Rises](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dark-knight-collection), Thor and The Green Lantern. All the posters have a very minimalist approach and are finished in a [retro pixelated design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/16bit-display). I'm not sure if Myers has any other comic book movie posters in mind, but it would be nice to see some more added to this awesome collection. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Poster Design:** Creating movie posters with a minimalist approach and retro pixelated design. - **Comic Book-themed Artwork:** Producing artwork inspired by comic book superheroes and upcoming comic book-themed movies. - **Retro Aesthetics:** Incorporating retro pixelated designs into various art forms, such as movie posters. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Graphic Design:** Opportunity to create minimalist and retro-inspired movie posters for promotional purposes. - **Entertainment:** Opportunity to offer collectible artwork inspired by comic book-themed movies. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to incorporate retro pixelated designs into home decor, such as posters and wall art. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Movie-Themed Art NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheeky-kyser.md) - [Witty Toy-Brand Horror Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horror-poster.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [AI-Generated Christmas Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-posters.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Popcorn Buckets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deadpool-wolverine1.md) - [Film-Inspired Graphic Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dark-knight-collection.md) - [AI-Generated Motorbike Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coldstar-art.md)
