Miami is one of the US cities with the highest UV exposure and to support beach-goers during Skin Cancer Awareness Month, [Sun Bum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trust-the-bum-tour) staged a Miami Beach Takeover event.

Sun Bum's [Just Use Sunscreen campaign](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunscreen-partner) advocates for everyone to use sunscreen, regardless of their brand preferences, and at this event in Miami, the brand provided [sun safety education](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canadian-dermatology-association) and free SPF. The beach takeover made a splash with a 10-foot sundial to highlight the Five S's of Sun Safety: sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat, shade, and sleeves, a sand castle building contest, a paddle board contest, beach games and more ways to have fun in the sun.

Sun Bum's Sun Safety Ambassador crew was also on-site, sharing valuable information, resources and tips on staying safe in the sun.
