# Rocker Puppet Pictures These Muppet Album Covers by Brian Snoddy are Enticing By Harris Jay Rosenberg Alterman | Published 2012-01-11 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metal-muppets-picture References: [neatorama](http://www.neatorama.com/2012/01/07/muppet-album-covers/) & [snellsoftware](http://www.snellsoftware.com/briansnoddyart/ScifiFantasy.html) Brian Snoddy's Muppet Album Covers bring the [lovable childhood puppets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/general-mills-x-jim-henson-company) into the world of sex, drugs and [rock 'n' roll](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/80s-rock-exhibit). Beaker looks more crazed than ever as he takes the place of 'Eddie the Head' on the cover of the Iron Maiden album. The sparking electrical wires suggest that Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew had another crazy experiment that ends with Beaker rising from a cloud of smoke in a ”meep meep meep" frenzy. The other Muppet mash-up features Gonzo the Great in place of music legend Ted Nugent. The instrument in the picture is a hybrid of a guitar and a shotgun, which is nothing new for the eccentric Muppet from space. The only thing these Muppet Album Covers need is a bit of Animal going bonkers while smashing away on the drums. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Muppet Mash-ups:** Opportunity to create unique and nostalgic merchandise, combining beloved childhood characters with popular music icons. - **Retro Album Art:** Potential for a resurgence in nostalgia-driven album covers, combining modern music with a vintage aesthetic. - **Unconventional Pop Culture Art:** Emerging market for artists creating unconventional artwork by remixing and reimagining iconic pop culture figures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Merchandising:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to create and sell Muppet-inspired merchandise, appealing to fans of both the Muppets and popular music. - **Music Industry:** Innovative album cover designs that combine nostalgic elements with contemporary music could attract attention and generate buzz for artists. - **Art Market:** Increasing demand for unconventional pop culture artwork opens up opportunities for artists to create and sell their unique creations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Puppet-Inspired Building Block Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-muppets-minifigures.md) - [Punkrock Band Tribute Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garbage-pail-kids-2.md) - [Vibrantly Comedic Travel Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookingyeah-campaign.md) - [Pop Culture Candy Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/album-art-packaging.md) - [Collectible Character Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arr-x-kaws-sesame-street.md) - [Exclusive Rock Band Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guns-n-roses-collectible.md) - [Playful Puppet Baby Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kids-preferred.md) - [Wild ’80s Rock Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/80s-rock-exhibit.md) - [Fuzzy Cereal Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/general-mills-x-jim-henson-company.md)
