Yu created his bike for the clothing brand Quicksilver. The brief was to design a bike for the year 2027 that was representative of the brand. Since Quicksilver dabbles heavily in surfing apparel, making the Mercury concept bike amphibious just made sense. The Mercury concept bike cuts a striking figure with its silver and black frame complete with red accents. The amphibious part of the bike comes from the rear where a propeller has been placed to provide underwater propulsion.
