This car is essentially a Mercedes [S-Class](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2027-mercedesbenz-sclass) that packs mad armor, designed to protect occupants against a wide variety of threats. The Mercedes S600 Guard is equipped with special reinforced steel between the car's structure and bodywork, to provide extra protection against gunfire and rockets. Aramid components provide protection against splinter and shrapnel. The car's thickened laminated glass is coated with polycarbonate to prevent injury from splintering glass. [Armor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/armortex-jacket) is important, but it's just as important to let everyone on the road know that you're big fish. For that reason, the S600 Guard is fitted with flags and flashing lights to keep your swag going. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Armored Luxury Cars:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced, lightweight materials for enhanced protection without sacrificing performance or luxury features. - **Security Enhancement Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create advanced security systems that integrate with the car's structure and provide real-time threat detection and response capabilities. - **Luxury Car Personalization:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offer customizable armored luxury cars that cater to the specific needs and preferences of high-profile individuals. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Automotive Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with materials scientists and security experts to develop next-generation armored luxury cars with advanced protection capabilities. - **Security Services:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Partner with luxury car manufacturers to provide integrated security solutions, such as threat analysis and armored vehicle escorts, for high-profile clients. - **Personalization and Customization:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Build a niche business that specializes in customizing armored luxury cars, offering tailor-made features and designs for discerning customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gold-Tinted Luxe Automobiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-edition-gwagen.md) - [Dazzling Rose-Hued SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mercedes-gclass-stronger-than-diamonds-edition.md) - [Fully-Armored Electric Vehicle Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/us-armor-group-armored-lucid-air-sapphire.md) - [Opulent Extreme Environment SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brabus-xl-800-cabrio-gwagen.md) - [Upgraded Armored Defender Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/octa-edition-one.md) - [L.A.
