# Hi-Tech Countdown Tacks The Memo Note Timer Pins Light Up to Get People's Attention By Meghan Young | Published 2013-01-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memo-note-timer-pins References: [trendsnow.net](http://www.trendsnow.net/inspiration/light-up-memo-note-timer-pins) & [j-tokkyo](http://www.j-tokkyo.com/2013/01/16/64064.html) Calendars and alarms may be good and all, but for those looking for something a little more interactive and visual, the Memo Note Timer Pins are just for them. They are hi-tech versions of standards tacks. Basically, a person pins down a traditional memo on a cork board or something similar with it. The main difference, however, is that the end of the Memo Note Timer Pins can be turned to effectively countdown until when the reminder needs to be completed. Ingeniously designed by Kim Sung Min, the Memo Note Timer Pins countdown can be tracked by a subtle notch. When it finishes counting down, it lights up to get the attention of the person it concerns. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Interactive Memo Notes:** The development of interactive memo notes that offer visual and tactile cues for reminders and deadlines. - **Smart Office Supplies:** Incorporating technology into traditional office supplies to increase productivity and efficiency. - **Hi-tech Stationery:** The emergence of high-tech stationery products that offer unique functionalities and features. ### Who This Affects Most - **Office Supplies:** The development of high-tech and interactive stationery products creates opportunities for the office supplies industry to innovate across various products and categories. - **Productivity Tools:** The emergence of interactive memo notes and other productivity tools highlights the potential for innovation in the productivity tools industry. - **Technology:** The development of smart office supplies like memo note timer pins highlights the potential for technology integration in various industries and product categories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tape Measurable Time Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/setime-clock.md) - [Paper-Free To-Do Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eminder.md) - [Digital Sticky Reminders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/friendlystack-reminder.md) - [Digitized Hourglass Productivity Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/focus-timer.md) - [Digital Handwritten Reminder Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/almo-concept-design.md) - [Flippable Cubic Timer Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ticktime-cube.md) - [Mechanical Candle-Inspired Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-timer.md) - [Countdown Calendar Integration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/countdown-app.md) - [Visualized Professional Time Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tempo-time-tracker.md)
