# Sculptural Ceramic Dispensers Mellow Condiment Set is a Pleasure to Grasp and Suave in its Design By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-01-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mellow-condiment-set References: [red-dot.de](http://red-dot.de/pd/online-exhibition/work/?lang=en&code=2012-04-0467&y=2012&c=181&a=1002) The appearance of the Mellow Condiment Set alone is be enough to impress many people, but it has other qualities that would suit the taste of plenty more. The elegant [salt and pepper shakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zjddg) with the tall and slender oil and vinegar vessels have been carefully crafted into [smooth ceramic forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-of-tangible-spaces) and enhanced with an innovative lid system. An [accompanying platter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tortugaware) is magnetized and so are the lichen, moss and sand-colored jars. Each has a wooden top that's nestled inside the rim, automatically popping up when someone removes the piece from its special surface. This facilitates the escape of ground seasonings out of the containers. The Bewater Studio's Mellow Condiment Set keeps its contents sealed in when all dispensers are neatly arranged. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sculptural Condiment Sets:** Designing innovative and elegant sculptural condiment sets with innovative lid systems and magnetic surfaces. - **Smooth Ceramic Forms:** Creating elegant and smooth ceramic forms for seasonings and condiments with automated lid popping mechanisms. - **Magnetically Enhanced Platters:** Designing condiment sets with magnetic platters for easy dispensing and enhanced presentation. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen and Dining:** Innovating and disrupting the kitchen and dining industry with elegant and innovative sculptural condiment sets. - **Home Decor:** Creating innovative and stylish decor accessories for homes with smooth ceramic forms and magnetic platters for easy dispensing. - **Hospitality and Food Service:** Innovating the presentation of condiments in upscale hospitality and food service establishments with sculptural condiment sets and magnetic platters. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Artisanal Pour Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisanal-pour-bottles.md) - [Handcrafted Avocado Oil Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organic-avocado-oil-holiday-set.md) - [Customizable Olive Oil Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-pour-gift-set.md) - [Refined Ritual Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gejst.md) - [Elegant Porcelain Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porcelain-tableware.md) - [Dual Spice Shaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stui.md) - [Ceramic Olive Oil Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cugu.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md)
