The floor light is shaped like an old megaton bomb with a lamp shade on the top to make for a stylish and unique piece to add to a room. Can one ever have too many [cool lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp)? Of course not, and for the resident that like [novelty items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp) that are also functional, this is the perfect piece. While the design itself is cool, that's not the best part about it. It tuns out that this isn't a bomb-themed lamp, it's an actual bomb from the Korean war that has been repurposed. If you can trust having a bomb in your house, this is an amazing piece to have. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Repurposed Furniture:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Explore ways to transform unconventional objects into functional and stylish furniture pieces. - **Novelty Home Decor:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Create unique and attention-grabbing home decor items that combine fun and functionality. - **Historical Design Inspirations:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Draw inspiration from historical artifacts and repurpose them into modern and intriguing design elements. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Explore unconventional materials and repurposing techniques to create innovative furniture designs with a story. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Develop novelty home decor products that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes, capturing consumer attention. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Fuse historical elements with contemporary interior design to create unique and conversation-starting living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dual-Purpose Camera-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nostalgian-floor-lamp-clock.md) - [Daylight-Mimicking Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighter-floor-lamp.md) - [Cutesy Coiled Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-helix-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Creature-Like Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pink-robots-won.md) - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md) - [Contemporary Modular Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/point-floor-lamp.md) - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Stunning Mushroom-Shaped Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mushroomshaped-table-lamp.md)
