Parrot AR Drone 2.0 has more great features than the previous generation. It has increased stability as it includes a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis magnetometer and an array of new sensors. It would be extremely useful for a media or camera crew. Its interface is more user friendly, just move your fingers around the touch screen of your smartphone or iPad, then you are literally steering it. One thing for the third generation to improve is to break out the reception area restriction, as the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 can't function outside the smart phone’s WiFi range.
