Of course, the Medard Light would be the EVE in this particular tale. Clean and futuristic, the [three-legged light fixture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) is not without its feminine charm. It is also [highly adaptable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moodi), going from the table to the ceiling with no trouble at all. The Medard Light is available in track, pendent and wall versions. Designed by Bleijh Industrial Design Studio in collaboration with Modular Lighting Instruments, the Medard Light provides a spotlight-like illumination. This directness ensures that the user has light where it is needed the most. Available in both black and white, it was recently unveiled at the Light+Building fair in Frankfurt, Germany. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Adaptable Lighting Fixtures:** The Medard Light shows a trend towards lighting fixtures that can easily transition from table to ceiling. - **Feminine Futuristic Design:** The Medard Light's clean and futuristic design incorporates feminine charm, reflecting a trend in blending gender-specific aesthetics. - **Spotlight-like Illumination:** The trend of spotlight-like illumination is showcased in the Medard Light's direct lighting, ensuring light is concentrated in specific areas. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The design and adaptability of the Medard Light makes it a disruptive innovation opportunity in the interior design industry. - **Lighting Technology:** The Medard Light's spotlight-like illumination presents an opportunity for disruption within the lighting technology industry. - **Industrial Design:** The collaboration between Bleijh Industrial Design Studio and Modular Lighting Instruments for the Medard Light indicates potential innovation opportunities in the industrial design industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Character-Like Wireless Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puddy-table-lamp.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Elegant Axis-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendulum-lamp.md) - [Adjustable Playful Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flos.md) - [Customizable Industrial Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pi-modular-lamp.md) - [Space-Saving Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-desk-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leda.md)
