F.P. Journe has revealed a new mechanized titanium hand timepiece called the Calibre 1300.3. The timepiece is inspired by the famous French barber-surgeon Ambroise Paré who is considered one of the fathers of surgery and modern forensic pathology.

The timepiece stands out with its mechanized titanium human hand that can tell the time through its five fingers. The five fingers will tell the time of the 12-digit hours by displaying universally recognized finger motions that instantly move when the hour changes. As for the minutes hand, it has a rotating dial. The timepiece also has a power reserve of five days and features a spring blade, a trigger, and an anchor on one side.
