The 'Mechanical Energy Harvesting Combo' uses mechanical movement and solar irradiation to generate power for the devices, eliminating the need for batteries or cords. This is done by rolling a crank on the keyboard or spinning a crank attached to the bottom of the mouse. The keyboard has a 68-key layout, RGB lighting, and a [solar panel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avalon-mouse-pad) on the top. The mouse has a ring-shaped crank at the bottom that can be wound to provide charge. Both devices support Bluetooth and 2.4G wireless connection. The Mechanical Energy Harvesting Combo is still a proof-of-concept device, so Lenovo has not announced any pricing or availability details for it yet. However, the device was showcased at CES 2024 in a fully-functional matter, so it is expected that Lenovo may release the product soon, if it does past the final testing phases.
