The architecture firm [Mecanoo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natural-history-museum-abu-dhab) has started on building a structure in [Shenzhen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shenzhen-energy-ring), China, which is made up of four distinct volumes. Each volume is colored with a vibrant red hue that makes the cultural center stand out even more.

The center will offer a number of different activities, "containing a [public art gallery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crow-museum-of-asian-art), a science museum, a youth center, and a book mall spread over five expansive storeys," according to DesignBoom. As such many people will be able to come here and spend a whole day exploring the different sections of the building without running out of activities to do.

This structure by Mecanoo will help Shenzhen look much more modern and recognized on a global scale.
