Judging by the interior of Amsterdam restaurant 'Meat West,' it is difficult to imagine that it once housed a [tram repair shop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-inainn-barn). There are many elements in the restaurant however to suggest that it once repaired trams.

Many of the repair shop's details have been maintained to give Meat West a bit of [vintage charm](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onyx-aether). The restaurant has a long, tubular shape surrounded by large open windows and high ceilings. The dimensions and many of the existing structural details have not been changed, adding a sense of history to the space. Also, the restaurant opted to keep the tram tracks on the ground, providing a unique visual pattern.

Meat West's tables and chairs are also set up to resemble a tram ride. In between each of the tables is a [window-like divider](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/11-x-17) that further reinforces the room's historic roots.
