The Christmas Dinner Big Soup contains generous chunks of turkey, [pigs in blankets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pigs-in-blankets-mac-cheese), Brussels sprouts, stuffing balls and potatoes, all with a [gravy and cranberry sauce](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turkey-breast-gravy-with-cranberry-sauce). The limited-edition dinner in a can was created to be enjoyed by those with a love of hearty flavors, and it promises to save consumers the hassle of worrying about shortages at the supermarket. Heinz recommends enjoying the Big Soup with a slice of warm crusty bread. Although Heinz only produced 500 cans of the seasonal soup this year, next year it could introduce more of the dinners in the can for consumers who want a quick and easy meal solution. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Canned Meals:** The success of Heinz's Christmas Dinner Big Soup in a can may lead to more canned meals being developed for consumers seeking convenience. - **Holiday-themed Foods:** Heinz's Christmas Dinner Big Soup in a can may inspire other food brands to create holiday-themed foods that appeal to consumers during the festive season. - **Limited-edition Products:** The popularity of Heinz's limited-edition Christmas Dinner Big Soup in a can highlights the potential success of producing exclusive products that generate buzz and excitement among consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Food and Beverage:** Companies operating in the food and beverage industry could consider developing more canned meals, particularly during times of uncertainty or shortages in supply chains. - **Seasonal Products:** Companies in the seasonal products industry may benefit from creating holiday-themed foods and beverages, as they are likely to appeal to consumers during festive periods. - **Packaged Goods:** The success of Heinz's Christmas Dinner Big Soup in a can provides an opportunity for companies in the packaged goods industry to create limited-edition products that generate consumer excitement and demand. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Festively Meat-Free Soup Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-dinner-big-soup.md) - [Convenient Canned Christmastime Pies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festive-turkey-pie.md) - [Canned Carbonara Pastas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heinz-spaghetti-carbonara.md) - [Hearty Plant-Based Soup Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiced-chickpea-big-soup.md) - [Bean-Based Meal Pouches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meal-pouches.md) - [Holiday Meal-Inspired Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-dinner-pizza.md) - [Festive Canned Holiday Puddings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/figgy-pudding.md) - [Celebrative Ketchup Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/its-heinz-season.md) - [Thanksgiving Instant Turkey Soups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turkey-soup.md)
