London-based architect Zaha Hadid designed the exterior and interior for the ME Dubai Hotel, a project which features [sculptural balconies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shebara-resort) and her London Design Festival installation.

Located in the Burj Khalifa district, the hotel stands next to the [world's tallest building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muraba-veil). Of the hotel's 100 rooms, four penthouses will be equipped with double-height living areas, bespoke furniture and entry to private terraces located on the roof. However, every room will feature the [fluid, curvaceous style](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/4space) that characterizes Hadid's design aesthetic.

Upon entrance, guests are greeted with a reception area located underneath a glazed void, which effectively divides the building in two. Balconies are created by a metallic feature, located next to the reception, that branches out.
