When John McCain spoke at the GOP convention on Thursday night, there were plenty of figurative elephants in the room--the most prominent one of which was the image of Walter Reed Middle School that showed on the giant backdrop behind him.
I am actually a graduate of this North Hollywood, California middle school, which isn’t exactly known outside of North Hollywood. Bloggers and pundits predict that McCain’s camp meant to use Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and not my humble junior high school. Unfortunately, no one can get an answer from the McCain campaign.
