BIG architects are known for their sculptural and vivid design concepts and this 60 foot maze installation is no exception to the tradition. The firm's project transforms its neoclassical building shell and creates a photo-worthy sculpture that design lovers cannot wait to visit. If you're a fan of fantasy or surrealism imagery, you will appreciate this wood-constructed sculpture that one can walk through. Reminding one of a certain scene from The Shining, this maze installation is the opposite of terrifying but is instead an interactive and experiential art piece that individuals of all ages can enjoy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Immersive Art Installations:** Opportunity for artists and designers to create immersive and interactive art experiences using unconventional materials like wood. - **Architectural Sculptures:** Elevating building structures with captivating and visually stunning sculptures opens up possibilities for unique architectural designs. - **Experiential Design:** Designing spaces and installations that provide engaging and memorable experiences, blurring the lines between art and interaction. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can explore new mediums and techniques to create innovative installations that captivate audiences. - **Architecture:** Architects can incorporate sculptural elements into their designs, enhancing the visual appeal and experiential nature of structures. - **Tourism and Entertainment:** Creating unique and immersive attractions, such as maze installations, can draw visitors seeking novel and memorable experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Brain-Like Labyrinths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brash-collective.md) - [Brand-Backed Maze Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-maze.md) - [Maze-Inspired 3D-Printed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maze-lamp.md) - [Modular Block Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-triennale-museum.md) - [Modular Marble Mazes Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balance-maze.md) - [Buildable Marble Mazes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-magic-maze.md) - [Mangrove Forest-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/once-upon-a-forest.md) - [Cave-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cave-bureau.md) - [Nature-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humannature-1.md)
