# Mayan God Water The Whirlpool Chaac Water Dispenser is a Heavenly Kitchen Appliance By Shelby Lee Walsh | Published 2009-07-07 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mayan-god-the-whirlpool-chaac-water-dispenser References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2009/07/07/rain-god-inspires/) The [Whirlpool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maytag) Chaac Water Dispenser looks so sleek and stylish as it is modeled after a mix of the Mayan Water God and modern Mexican culture. The system within the Chaac Water Dispenser is high-tech, using [carbon filters to purify tap water](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-purification-appliance) and having built-in censors that dispense water depending on the size of the glass placed on the machine. If this product is inspired by a god, I have a feeling that this may be the best water you’ll ever taste. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **High-tech Water Dispensers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced water dispensers with smart sensors and filtration systems to provide customized drinking experiences. - **Culturally-inspired Kitchen Appliances:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create kitchen appliances that incorporate elements of traditional culture to appeal to consumers seeking unique and visually appealing products. - **Water Purification Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore innovative water purification methods and technologies to offer consumers safer and cleaner drinking water options. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate cutting-edge technology and design into kitchen appliances to enhance functionality and aesthetics. - **Smart Home Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop smart home solutions that automate daily tasks and improve convenience and efficiency for consumers. - **Environmental Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Advance water filtration and purification technologies to address the growing concerns of water quality and sustainability. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Avant-Garde Water Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasium-water-purifier.md) - [Haute Kitchen Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b6-water-dispenser.md) - [Mid-Century Modern Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supor-instant-water-dispenser.md) - [Sleek Water Dispenser Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metapure-desktop-water-dispenser.md) - [Smart Water-Dispensing Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ice-and-water-dispenser.md) - [Flexibly Filtered Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/purifying-dispenser.md) - [Avant-Garde Water Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasium.md) - [AI Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-dispensers1.md) - [Purified Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akuapure-t1-ultra.md)
