# Fountaining Flip Faucets The Matt Brown Faucet Becomes an Easy-Access Drinking Fountain By Meghan Young | Published 2010-02-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matt-brown-faucet References: [thedesignblog.org](http://www.thedesignblog.org/entry/drinking-fountain-that-becomes-a-bathroom-faucet/) & [skrov](http://www.skrov.com/projects/faucet.html) I'm sure we've all tried to jam our heads under the bathroom faucet before either quickly quenching our thirst or rinsing out our mouths--with the Matt Brown faucet, our swishing days have just become that much easier. Although this design isn't quite to my taste in its current iteration, the Matt Brown faucet is absolutely ingenious. Perfect for the bathroom and/or kitchen, I hope to see more designs like this. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Easy-access Faucets:** Designing faucets that double as drinking fountains ### Sectors Adopting This - **Plumbing:** Opportunities for plumbing manufacturers to create innovative dual-purpose faucets - **Home Appliances:** Faucet upgrades in homes and offices to create more accessibility and convenience - **Public Spaces:** Installation of easy-access drinking fountains in public spaces to promote health and hydration ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Splash-Free Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brondell-jema-single-handle-touchless-pulldown-faucet.md) - [Enhanced Stylish Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath.md) - [Ultra-Modern Sliding Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desliz-faucet.md) - [Designer Water Purifier Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-water-purifier.md) - [Abstract Industrial Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01-faucet.md) - [Energy Drink Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tap.md) - [Stealthy Limited-Edition Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-01.md) - [Stand-Up Water Fountain Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Youseeuc.md) - [Made-To-Order Modern Faucet Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-faucet-creator.md)
