R2-D2 and C-3PO, Yoda, Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers, and Boba Fett with friends are just a small number of the works that Gunnarsson has created using sophisticated techniques and materials that add a certain level of class to the creations. The inspiration for the works indeed came from the films, but Gunnarsson took a still life approach with these paintings and rendered them after small [action figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mattel-x-moma) and comic book drawings to get a better idea of the looks.
