Mathia Bengtsson’s paper chair may looked inspired by the majestic creature the zebra, but it truly looks like a neat optical illusion. Using digital art to create this optical illusion look, it was also handcrafted by the artist. Mathia Bengtsson put the chair together by gluing [recycled paper material](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti) together to create the chair structure without the aid of traditional seating tools.

Aside from the neat technique used to build it and the use of [recycled materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bultan-chair), the chair is an amusing optical illusion to behold. I only hope that such a loopy design doesn’t create too much confusion and that people can still manage to stick their butts into it.
