The striking illuminators are inspired by “visions that bring to mind a timeless, almost sci-fi world." Structures like The London Eye or the Guggenheim Museum stand out as inspirations for this collection of lamps that are showcased in a stunning catalog of black and white photographs. Designed for Foscarini, this collection of lamp accessories has been captured on canvas in a series of large portraits that are lensed against a vast sky backdrop. Massimo Gardone creates photographs that depict an original interpretation of some of Foscarini’s products. These images are being exhibited at the 14 International Architecture Exhibition. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Monumental Lamp Designs:** Designing lamps inspired by monumental architecture pieces creates disruptive innovation opportunities in the lighting industry. - **Timeless and Sci-fi Designs:** Exploring designs that evoke a timeless and sci-fi world can inspire disruptive innovation opportunities in various industries, such as home decor and sci-fi merchandise. - **Large Portraits of Lamp Accessories:** Capturing lamp accessories in large and artistic portraits can provide disruptive innovation opportunities for advertising and home decor industries. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Lighting Industry:** Creating new lamp designs inspired by monumental architecture pieces can disrupt the lighting industry. - **Home Decor Industry:** The timeless and sci-fi nature of these lamp designs can inspire disruptive innovation opportunities in the home decor industry. - **Advertising Industry:** Large and artistic portraits of lamp accessories can disrupt the advertising industry by providing a new and innovative way of showcasing products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Brutalist Bedside Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vestige-lamp.md) - [Vertical Formed Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tower-lighting.md) - [Architectural Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighting-innovation.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Geometric Bar-Like Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/empyrean.md) - [Traditional Tower-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pagoda-lamp.md) - [Ultra-Chic Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md)
