Just as it sounds, the Mason Shaker is a cocktail shaker that looks like a [mason jar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masons-of-yorkshire-rtds). The design team consists of Josh and Eric, who are based out of Brooklyn. Their dreams haven't quite been realized yet, as they're still in need of a little extra funding to get the project on its feet. These super hip cocktail shakers stand apart from other designs and can be easily recycled after long-time use. On the website, the designers state that "[they] have spent the past six months designing, refining, patenting and producing a prototype of the Mason Shaker. We now have the final design, a prototype that works great and a manufacturer for the product ready for our initial orders." This simplistic design will be a big hit. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Simplistic Cocktail Shakers:** The Mason Shaker's simple design taps into the trend of minimalism in consumer products and offers disruptive innovation opportunities for cocktail shaker manufacturers to create sleek and functional designs. - **Recyclable Kitchenware:** The Mason Shaker's recyclable feature aligns with the growing trend of eco-consciousness in consumer products, presenting opportunities for kitchenware manufacturers to develop sustainable and eco-friendly products. - **Hipster-inspired Designs:** The Mason Shaker's hipster aesthetic capitalizes on the trend of nostalgia-driven designs, allowing industries such as home decor and kitchenware to explore disruptive innovation opportunities in creating unique, retro-inspired products. ### Who This Affects Most - **Cocktail Shaker Manufacturing:** The Mason Shaker's unique design and popularity open up opportunities for cocktail shaker manufacturers to explore new design elements and materials in order to create innovative, eye-catching products. - **Kitchenware Manufacturing:** The Mason Shaker's blend of functionality and sustainability creates room for innovation in the kitchenware industry, with potential for manufacturers to develop more eco-friendly and user-friendly products. - **Home Decor Industry:** The Mason Shaker's hip and nostalgic design presents opportunities for the home decor industry to create fashionable and on-trend kitchen accessories that appeal to consumers seeking unique, vintage-inspired pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Design-Forward Sleek Cocktail Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mescola-cocktail-set.md) - [Insulated Cocktail Shakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yeti-cocktail-shaker.md) - [Shakeable Ready-to-Drink Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shakr-cocktails.md) - [Dedicated Craft Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Self-Measuring Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-craft-hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Luxe Aviation-Inspired Cocktail Mixers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/callum-martini-mixer.md) - [Herb Mixology Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-party-mixology-gift-set.md) - [Home Mixology Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/complete-bar-set.md) - [Branded Mixology Cocktail Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titos-stand-up-copper-cocktail-set.md)
