# Modern Mason Jar Vases Mason Jars Can Be Used for Much More Than Just Storing Food By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-01-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mason-jar-vases References: [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/170170931/painted-mason-jar-vase-centerpiece) & [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/shop/StyleJarsandCans?ref=l2-shopheader-name) Christmas just passed, and as many of us know, shopping for the craftier people in our lives can be a chore. StyleJarsandCans have taken every hipster's favourite storage supply and beverage holder and re-appropriated it a bit. The artist has taken the household Mason Jar and made them into colorful Mason Jar Vases. They've all been painted in various styles, such as a few wedding centerpiece Mason Jar Vases painted with blue on the top fading into white at the bottom, or the recent Gold, Bronze and Copper collection. The Vases are simple but elegant. They can fit into a variety of décor, add an accent to a room, or as many of their names imply, be a centerpiece for a wedding or dinner. They're also priced really well, and of course, that means everything. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Re-appropriated Mason Jars:** Opportunity for artists to repurpose everyday household items into unique and decorative pieces. - **Colorful Mason Jar Vases:** Potential for customizable and vibrant vases to add a pop of color and style to home decor. - **Budget-friendly Centerpieces:** Demand for affordable yet stylish centerpieces for events like weddings and dinners. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Crafts:** Artists and DIY enthusiasts could tap into the trend of repurposing everyday items to create unique products. - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can explore the market for customizable and colorful vases that can elevate interior design. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planners to offer budget-friendly centerpiece options with trendy and stylish designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artisanal Pour Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisanal-pour-bottles.md) - [Jewelry-Holding Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-vase-stand.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Ocean-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-coralshaped-vase.md) - [Delicate Colorful Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-colorful-vase.md) - [Affordable Designer Vase Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-vase.md) - [Colorful Geometric Ceramic Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barva-vases.md) - [Greenery-Inspired Textured Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-textured-ceramic-vase.md) - [Compact Canned Houseplants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trader-joes-mini-can-foliage.md)
