This mason jar speaker and amplifier set is hand-crafted in Sunnyvale CA. These speakers are the exact same size as your standard mason jar, but have the ability to play your favorite tunes from your personal music player or act as an amplifier for your own electronic instrument. While small and completely portable, this speaker packs a real punch and would be perfect for a desk or even a small party. The device is made up up aluminum, wire, glass, metal and circuit board components and runs on a set of batteries. The speaker can play for up to 20 hours of straight use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Portable Mason Jar Speakers:** Creating speakers in the form of mason jars opens up opportunities for portable and stylish audio solutions. - **Amplifier for Electronic Instruments:** Designing mason jar speakers with the capability to act as amplifiers for electronic instruments offers a convenient and versatile solution for musicians. - **Handcrafted Speaker Sets:** The trend of handcrafting mason jar speakers provides a unique and customizable audio experience for consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can tap into the mason jar speaker trend to introduce innovative audio devices with a trendy aesthetic. - **Music and Entertainment:** The music and entertainment industry can leverage mason jar speakers as a creative way to enhance music listening experiences and performances. - **Craft and DIY:** The craft and DIY industry can explore opportunities to offer mason jar speaker kits and materials that empower individuals to build their own unique audio systems. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Guitar Amp-Inspired Party Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marshall-bromley-750.md) - [Multifunctional Jam-Friendly Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fender-audio-riff.md) - [Emergency Audio Speaker Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crankspeaker.md) - [Transparent Gramophone-Like Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-speaker-concept.md) - [Wine Bottle-Resembling Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-echo.md) - [Sustainable Solar-Powered Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solgaard-solarbank-boombox.md) - [Portable Sonic-Optimized Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/newordinary-songbook-max-speaker.md) - [Pickleball-Friendly Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speaqua-barnacle-pro-20.md) - [Nautilus Shell Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steampunk-nautilus.md)
