A huge [puff of cushioning and comfort](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pillo-sofa), this sofa design is incredibly indulgent as it will surely make anyone feel as though they are lying down on a cloud. Use it to recline in front of the TV, as a piece of creative furniture to decorate a themed playroom, or as a lounger that will entice guests to sleep over and never want to leave. Change the cushion shape with ease depending on your own design preferences. Just like the delicious sweets it is named after, the Marshmallows Sofa line by Kei Harada is super tempting and impossibly irresistible. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Reconfigurable Couches:** Opportunity for furniture companies to create customizable and adaptable couch designs that cater to individual preferences and needs. - **Luxury Comfort:** Opportunity to develop high-end, indulgent furniture pieces that provide unparalleled comfort and luxury. - **Creative Themed Furniture:** Opportunity to design unique and imaginative furniture pieces that enhance the aesthetic appeal of themed spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can innovate by incorporating reconfigurable designs and high-quality materials to create luxurious and comfortable couches. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate creative and themed furniture pieces like the Marshmallows Sofa to create visually stunning and unique spaces. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can offer guests a luxurious and unforgettable experience by providing high-end, comfortable, and eye-catching furniture pieces in their lounges and bedrooms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fluffy Soft Marshmallow Penthouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marshmallow-penthouse.md) - [Plush Sculptural Lounge Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rokko.md) - [Modular Bulbous Lounge Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sundae-modular-lounge.md) - [Compact Pillowy Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sander-series.md) - [Ultra-Relaxed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-pillo.md) - [Enveloping Sofa Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo.md) - [Illusory Floating Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-soft-sofa.md) - [Rippled Modular Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffa-furniture.md) - [Family-Friendly Modular Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubik-v-cloud-modular-couch.md)
