Mimicking the experience an animal has, these virtual reality helmets use [binauraul sound design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) to make it sound like you are a small animal. The visual effects were created with 360-degree drone filming as well as CT scanning and LiDAR, which detects things visually using the amount of distance between objects. These effects allow humans to see things the way animals would, using [bat-like radar detection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utrack-ar) as well as X-ray-like vision. Marshmallow Laser Feast has taken even the most natural of things into the realm of virtual reality -- bringing this forest to life thanks to technological advances. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Enhanced Virtual Reality Experiences:** The use of binaural sound design and advanced visual effects in virtual reality experiences offers new opportunities for immersive, animalistic sensory experiences. - **Animal-mimicking Virtual Reality Helmets:** Virtual reality helmets that simulate the sensory experiences and perspectives of animals can provide a unique and transformative way to explore nature. - **Advanced Visual Techniques in Virtual Reality:** Utilizing 360-degree drone filming, CT scanning, and LiDAR in virtual reality experiences allows users to see the world through animal-like radar detection and X-ray-like vision. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Virtual Reality Technology:** The development of enhanced virtual reality technology that replicates animalistic sensory experiences creates opportunities for immersive entertainment, tourism, and therapeutic applications. - **Nature Exploration:** The integration of animal-mimicking virtual reality helmets in nature exploration opens up innovative possibilities for wildlife conservation, education, and eco-tourism. - **Film and Entertainment:** The application of advanced visual techniques in virtual reality filmmaking and entertainment offers disruptive innovation opportunities that enhance storytelling and audience engagement. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Immersive Digital Forests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teamlab-1.md) - [Touch-Reactive VR Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/presence-in-bed.md) - [Augmented Reality Dining Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/awaken-your-senses.md) - [Virtual Countryside Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loccitane-virtual-experience.md) - [Enchanting Phygital Sensory Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gifts-of-the-forest.md) - [Multi-Sensory VR Headsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ordovic-vr-headset.md) - [Animal-Perspective Video Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/imaging-system-1.md) - [Virtual Flavor Simulators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taste-in-virtual.md) - [Reinterpreted Immersive Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wizard-of-oz-360.md)
