Handcrafted in Vancouver, BC, the Marshmallow Crossbow features a unique construction composed of over 99% natural materials. Made from wood, metal and rubber, the crossbow is incredibly easy to assemble while still being robust enough to launch projectiles up to 60 feet through the air. Built specifically for slightly dry [regular-sized marshmallows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hearts-marshmallows), the Marshmallow Crossbow is safe enough to fire at people without risking any dire injury. The makers recommend dry ammunition be used for best trajectory and even suggest coating the marshmallows with fresh cornstarch to provide a puff of "smoke" when they reach their target. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Edible Warfare Toys:** The trend towards edible warfare toys presents an opportunity for the toy industry to create more imaginative and creative products for children and adults alike. - **Handcrafted Natural Material Toys:** The trend towards handcrafted and natural material toys presents an opportunity for the woodworking and toy industries to collaborate and create unique, high-quality toys. - **Toy Weaponry with Novelty Ammunition:** The trend towards toy weaponry with novelty ammunition presents an opportunity for the toy industry to experiment with different types of ammunition and launchers for both entertainment and educational purposes. ### Where This Applies - **Toy Industry:** The toy industry can leverage the trend towards edible warfare toys, handcrafted natural material toys, and toy weaponry with novelty ammunition to create more diverse and engaging products for consumers of all ages. - **Woodworking Industry:** The woodworking industry can collaborate with the toy industry to create unique, high-quality toys using natural materials, such as wood and rubber, that are both visually appealing and safe for children to use. - **Novelty Ammunition Industry:** The novelty ammunition industry can partner with the toy industry to create innovative and fun types of ammunition, such as slightly dry marshmallows, that can be safely used in toy weapons for entertainment and educational purposes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cutting-Edge Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/long-range-blasters.md) - [Gel Pellet Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hasbro-1.md) - [Creator-Backed Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast.md) - [Wooden Military Replica Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m142-himars.md) - [Memory-Based Adult Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arschmallows.md) - [Flatulence-Firing Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttheads-fart-launcher-3000.md) - [Festive Decorated Marshmallows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/williams-sonoma.md) - [Compact Gel Capsule Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-pro-gelfire-legion-blaster.md) - [Aerated Marshmallow Toppings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shmallow.md)
